I didn’t think it was possible to have a mobile device with 3G and not have to pay a subscription fee. But apparently Amazon is a big enough conglomerate to make things happen both in the US and Internationally.
Also the price isn’t too gouge-y.
You can pick up the US version for $259 and the US and international wireless Kindle for $279. You can also go big with the Kindle DX with US Wireless (no clue why no international access) for $489. You can also use Kindle on your iPhone which is one of my must-have iPhone apps.
